known as “Mantangingi” to the local town of Buenavista,
Island of Guimaras, the resort flaunts of golden brown sand,

The resort’s namecame from the Indonesian
words “kelapa”, meaning coconut and “gading”,
meaning ivory. Kelapa Gading is a residential and commercial
district in Jakarta, where the resort owner resided during
a stint in a softdrink company.
The resort restaurant offers fresh and quality
native food specialties. The pavilion, can accommodate 40
to 50 persons, is a perfect area for seminars, meetings, wedding
receptions, birthday parties and other functions.
Airconditioned and non-airconditioned rooms
with bathrooms provide comfortable sleeping areas for couples,
families or groups. Picnic shed houses are also available
to those who prefer not to stay overnight. For others looking
for more amusement, the resort has videoke, billiards and
a computer arcade.
Aside from the facilities available within
the resort, one hundred meters from the beach front is an
islet which can be visited by boat during high tide and through
walking or strolling during low tide.
